< AnteriorWARRANTY TERMS Standard warranty info 1. CANDeLeC warranties every LED light sold to be free of manufacturer caused defects. CANDeLeC products are warrantied for a period of 2 to 5 years. The warranty time is specified for each product on the products datasheet. From the date of purchase CANDeLeC will honor this warranty of the lights that fail during normal use due to manufacturer’s defect and have been installed and connected properly. If for any reason your unit is to malfunction due to manufacturer error within this time period please email: sales@candelec.com and we will guide you through every step in returning your unit for service quickly and professionally. 2. Defective within the period of warranty – free replacement parts issued. The following information is needed… A. Customer knows which parts are defective. B. Customer provides pictures, video and data of the damaged parts. If customer can’t provide this information or can’t repair it themselves then the light has to be returned to the manufacturer for repair at customer’s expense. If the light is found to be defective due to manufacturing causes then shipping will be refunded and the light repaired and returned for free. If the damage is due to abnormal use or any other reason except manufacturing causes then the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and maintenance. 3. Turnaround time on repairs: (1) We stock most repair parts for LED lights. We will attempt to repair your light. If we can't, your under-warranty light will be replaced with the same model or with one of equal or higher value. (2) If your light is out of warranty, we will assess the repairs and notify you by email the cost of the repairs. If you decide not to repair the light, we will return your light. There may be a time when we have to order the repair parts from the manufacturer so the turnaround time may be longer. Before returning your light for maintenance, please see if performing some maintenance will correct the issue. Remember, maintaining your light according to our technic datasheet and suggestion will provide a longer product life. 4. Here is a list of exceptions to our warranty policy: * Damage due to mishandling or abuse of the product. * Not using a voltage regulated power supply to connect LEDs products. * Connecting LEDs to the wrong Output Voltage. * Improper connection of power supplies. * Using products in an extremely hot or wet environment. * Water damage to non waterproof products. * Electrical power surges. Note: It is recommended that if there is a possibility of power surges then you should consider a surge protector for the incoming A/C power line. * Damage from Lighting or Electrical Storms. * Acts of God. Example: hail, flooding, tornado, fire, wind * Products or electronic components that have been modified by the user. * Products used for purposes other than intended and directed. * Products damaged by connection to LED systems or components not purchased from CANDeLeC. * Warranty coverage begins on date of invoice. Product damaged due to installation error or power fluctuations beyond component rating are not covered under warranty. 5. Note: 1) Claimant must furnish proof of date of purchase. 2) CANDeLeC's sole liability with respect to any defect shall be for the replacement of the defective goods or Services. No one is authorized to make any other warranties on behalf of our Company, or modify this warranty, except in a separate written paper document under original signature of a corporate officer of our Company. CANDELEC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE GOODS OR SERVICES OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO LOSS OF PROPERTY, REVENUES, LIFE OR LIMB, PERSONAL INJURY, AND CLAIMANT'S REMEDIES SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NONCONFORMING GOODS OR SERVICES.
